A Chronological Cracker!

Today, Year 4 spent some time playing 'Chronology the Game' which is inspired by the Timeline card game. The game was created by Mr Kean in Year 5. It is an epic game which involves the use of history, timelines, maths and reasoning. Needless to say, Year 4 loved it!

How did Ancient Greek city-states end up the way they did?

Year 4 had a very practical discussion (with some help from base 10, post-it notes and toy soldiers) on the reasons why the Greek city states were located where they were.

Minecraft - land of the gods - part 1

Welcome to the latest round of Minecraft Edu in History Club. This time, the students must work collaboratively to create a city fit for the gods. They must start by creating individual farms and homes which look like Roman villas. If they fail, they will be punished! If they succeed they will be rewarded!
